"This beautiful farm has the whole package!"
We used Meon Spring's long-barn for a two-day, end of project review. From arrival, Jamie, and team looked after the group far beyond our expectations.
In the day time we used the Long Barn as our base to work from - a truly lovely space filled with light and character. Greg, who works on the farm, was also incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. In the evening, we had a cooked BBQ (thank you Alison!!) and enjoyed a lovely relaxing evening around the campfire, before stumbling back to the cosy, comfortable yurts after a couple glasses of wine. The venue is perfectly for business during the week, and although we didn't stay over the weekend, I would highly recommend staying with the family for the weekend, and make sure to check out the cows being milked! We even got a lift to the local pub in a cattle truck - something I never expected to be doing on business, but still, everybody had GREAT FUN." BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO |
why meon springs
The value we can offer your business depends quite a bit on who you are and where you are located.
- If you are in the agricultural and food related industries, the experience of your team and guests at Meon Springs will be very relevant to your industry and could help people see some fundamental reasons as to why their job is important and how it fits into the whole food chain.

- If you are an international team, bringing people together from around the world, we are conveniently located for people flying into Heathrow or Gatwick and can arrange transport to and from the airports.
- If you have a need for meeting space and want it to be quite different from the rest and perhaps combine it with an activity or two, we can easily accommodate that.
- We offer the flexibility for you to design your event with as much or as little input from ourselves as you like. You are welcome to bring your own trainers and facilitators or use ours. You are welcome to do your own catering (if staying with us) or ask us to do some or all of it for you. You are welcome to run your own activities (with agreement) or ask us for activities, which would work for your team and guests.

Many businesses that come to Meon Springs are in the agricultural, horticultural or food-related industries.
For example a number of law firms have brought clients to enjoy a day of country sports. Public bodies, such as DEFRA, have taken farm tours to learn about how this farming business operates. The NFU has used The Long Barn for their South East Dairy Conference. A number of leading food and drink firms have stayed in our Yurt Village, had meetings, done training days, and enjoyed a range of country sports and woodland activities. We have also had visits from city businesses that really see the benefits of holding meetings and training sessions in a non-tech, rural environment. |
Corporate Away Days for me and my team...
As well as just being fun days out of the office, Corporate Away Days make a valuable contribution to the intangible asset of team strength.
There are numerous types of corporate away day that you can undertake. The most basic of which being taking your team out into the country for a long walk, followed by a picnic or pub lunch. And if all you want is a bit of parking space and possibly a sandwich in some beautiful Hampshire countryside, then please speak to us.
At Meon Springs, we have corporate teams visit us from up and down the country as well as having remote teams sometimes join us from different parts of the globe. (being only an hour a way from the London airport of Heathrow and just over an hour from Gatwick, we are well located for remote teams to gather for a corporate event. - Also, we have fun accommodation - Mongolian Yurts and Shepherd's Huts to make a complete change of atmosphere from the normal corporate hotel environment.
In fact I would say that it is our antithesis to the normal corporate venue and our human approach to corporate hospitality and teambuilding that is our biggest strength.
