Clay Shooting in Hampshire
Meon Springs is one of Hampshire's prettiest shooting grounds overlooking the South Downs and Olde Winchester Hill. All our clay shooting is done under instruction whether it be personal lessons, have-a-go Experience sessions - known as 'Shoot-a-box', shooting party events - or part of a Corporate Event.
Due to the outdoor nature of the sport, we are open for clay shooting, however due to recent guidelines, shooting parties are up to a maximum of five people. Also, if you can, please bring your own hats and eye protection (normal glasses are OK) and as normal, please bring appropriate weather gear and footwear (wellies or walking boots rather than white trainers).

Shoot-a-boxIf you want to try your hand at clay shooting for the first time for a bit of fun the come and join us for a 'Shoot-a-Box' Experience.
Each session involves shooting 25 cartridges with an instructor, who will guide you though the whole experience. You're in safe hands - our lead instructor Graham Dench is a member of the Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors (ICSI) and a Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) Level 2 coach.
Our Shoot-a-Box experiences are available on a Saturday throughout the year and include everything you need for your experience - an instructor, guns (either the standard 12 bore or the lighter 20 bore), cartridges, eye protection, ear defenders and hats. All you have to do is turn up. Cost: £49 per person saturday am shooting partyIf there are a group of you wanting to shoot on a Saturday morning, you can book our Saturday AM Shooting Party.
This is a single session for up to six people to shoot 200 cartridges between them.
During the morning, each person is safety briefed and fully instructed. For a bit of rivalry, if you wish, a small competition can also be organised as part of the event. Cost £320 for up to five/six people. |
shooting lessonsIf you've had a taste of clay shooting and want to progress - or if you're an experience shooter and want your technique analysed - then a One-to-One lesson with one of our qualified instructors is just for you.
During the course of the hour, you will get to shoot a number of different targets and analyse your performance. If there's a problem with your technique, the instructor will help you to find a solution. In that regard, every lesson is tailored to the individual.
The lesson is relaxed yet focused. Our experienced instructors will answer any questions you may have. You can either bring your own gun, or use one of our 20 or 12 bore guns. The lesson - with a qualified instructor - lasts an hour. Cost: £95 per hour corporate clay shootingClay shooting is great for building relationships - and simply having fun.
