Meon Springs Guide for Dogs and Other Animals
Dogs and most other pets are welcome here

At Meon Springs, we understand that dogs are part of the family, which is why they are warmly welcomed in our Yurt Village, Shepherd's Huts, and Fly Fishery.

We offer comfortable, dog-friendly floors in the authentic Mongolian Yurts and charming Shepherd’s Huts and you are welcome to bring their own bed. (Just a little reminder to keep them off of our beds!)

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you keep your dog under control at all times and clean up after them. Additionally, you must have public liability insurance that covers your pet’s actions—this may already be included in your household or pet insurance policy.
Local Vets
Should your dog feel unwell during your stay, St. Peter’s Vets in Petersfield is available to provide professional care. You can reach them at 01730 266431 for assistance.

With plenty of open space, fresh air, and a welcoming atmosphere, Meon Springs is the perfect retreat for you and your four-legged friend!

Dog-friendly glamping blends the outdoor charm of camping with the added luxury of modern facilities, all while making space for your dog to be part of the adventure. At Meon Springs, this means waking up to birdsong, enjoying leisurely waterside walks, and relaxing together in a beautifully appointed yurt or shepherd's hut. It is a chance to swap screen time for green time, without compromising on comfort.
We offer two main types of pet-friendly glamping accommodation: traditional Mongolian yurts and rustic shepherd’s huts. Both are fully equipped with wood burners, comfortable beds and cooking facilities. Each unit has its own private outdoor space, allowing your dog to rest nearby while you unwind with a book or enjoy the view across the lakes.

There are plenty of dog-welcoming places to eat and drink within a short drive of Meon Springs. Local favourites include The White Lion in Soberton and The Thomas Lord in West Meon, both of which offer cosy spots for a post-walk pint or lunch with your pup by your side. Many of our guests also enjoy taking a thermos to the lake for a peaceful, self-catered waterside break.
Our glamping site offers far more than just dog-friendly short breaks. With on-site fishing experiences, local walking routes, and peaceful surroundings, we’re a top choice for dog holidays in the UK. What sets us apart is our commitment to sustainability, community, and creating a space where people and pets can truly unwind.
Whether you're booking pet-friendly weekend breaks for a spontaneous escape or planning dog-friendly holidays in advance, Meon Springs offers one of the most scenic and accommodating dog holidays UK travellers can enjoy.
