So you’ve booked your yurt or Shepherd’s Hut stay at Meon Springs – now the exciting planning begins.
Some guests visit simply to relax and unwind in the peaceful Hampshire countryside. There’s nothing quite like sitting outside your yurt or hut, listening to birdsong, watching the clouds drift over the South Downs, and warming your feet beside the fire pit.
But if you’re looking for a more active stay, there are plenty of things to do at Meon Springs and in the surrounding South Downs National Park.

Walking in the South Downs National Park
One of the best things about staying at Meon Springs is the access to incredible walking routes right from your doorstep.
Our farm sits directly on the South Downs Way, offering spectacular views across the rolling hills of the South Downs. You can step straight out of your accommodation and begin exploring miles of footpaths and countryside trails.
In fact, you could take a walk every day for a week and never follow the same route twice.
Keep an eye on the skies too – the hills above Meon Springs are popular with paragliders, often seen gliding over the Downs on clear days.

For guests looking to relax and reconnect, we’re lucky to have a yoga teacher based on site.

Precision in every maneuver is the key to achieving a high score in Slope Game. Small, well-controlled movements will help the ball maintain a steady trajectory.
Having a yoga session with Stacey right at the retreat is so convenient. I was grinding in a few rounds of Drift Boss but this post was so great that I had to stop and check out the details, I will definitely book a session when I visit.
