A Year at Meon Springs: Our Favourite Moments from 2025

2025 has been a wonderfully busy, heart-warming year here at Meon Springs.

As always, one of the greatest joys of running the Yurts and Shepherd’s Huts is welcoming back familiar faces.

We love seeing families return year after year—children growing, families expanding, adventures evolving, and the next generation discovering the simple fun of the farm and the beauty of the Meon Valley.

Visitors From Near and Far

With the South Downs Way running close by, we often meet walkers who stop in for something refreshing at the café or choose to camp with us along their route. Their stories always brighten our days.

This year, one standout moment was welcoming a couple from Australia who sold everything to travel the world. They’re documenting their journey on their blog Turtle Tracks Travels, and we felt honoured to be one of their stops along the way.

Farm Life & A Few Star Turns

Behind the scenes, the farm has been thriving. We're incredibly proud to be part of the Sainsbury’s milk supply chain—and even prouder that our very own Jamie was featured in their national marketing. Keep an eye out next time you pick up a pint or two.

We also introduced a brand-new crop this year. In early August, we harvested half a tonne of bulrush heads, which were transformed into BioPuff, a plant-based, sustainable alternative to down or polyester fillers. These then made their way into luxury puffer jackets designed by Stella McCartney, blending high fashion with climate-conscious innovation.

From our wetlands to the catwalk—it’s still one of our favourite stories of the year.

A Broadcast From the Farm

Another highlight of 2025 was hosting an outside broadcast from V2 Radio’s Breakfast Show right here on the farm.

It was fantastic to share the energy of Meon Springs live on air, chat about life in the Meon Valley, and give listeners a real sense of what happens behind the scenes.

A brilliant morning—and one we hope to repeat.

Training, Events & a Growing Corporate Community

Our corporate offering has continued to grow, especially with the introduction of the new Achievement Accelerators Programme. With four core elements, it’s proving popular with individuals who want to develop personally and professionally.

We also welcomed many companies for bespoke training days. Teams always seem to thrive in a rural setting—especially when the schedule includes a farm tour or a bit of axe throwing to mix things up.

Looking Ahead to 2026

There’s plenty to look forward to in 2026 here at Meon Springs.

We’re kicking off the year with the first in a series of book events in the Long Barn. On 26th January, we’ll be hosting An Evening with Mandy and Craig Hickson. Tickets are available now on our Events page.

We’re also working on some lovely improvements to our glamping accommodation for the new season, making stays in our Yurts and Shepherd’s Huts even more enticing.

A Big Thank You

To everyone who stayed, trained, walked, fished, attended an event, or simply relaxed with us this year—thank you for making 2025 such a special, action-packed season.

We wish you all a wonderful Christmas and look forward to welcoming you back to Meon Springs in 2026.

I really enjoy how soflo wheelie life lets you swap bikes and helmets instantly with just F and G! Each bike has its own feel,  light, medium, or heavy, and mastering wheelies on each one makes the gameplay super engaging!

By carefully balancing player attributes, basketball stars avoids the common “pay-to-win” feeling. Success depends on mastering controls and reading opponents, not just on accumulated advantages. This fairness is a big reason why matches stay engaging for everyone.

I loved reading about your favorite moments at Meon Springs! It reminded me of how “Drift Boss” captures those exhilarating, unexpected thrills in gameplay. What was the most surprising moment for you this year?
