The Cast and Blast, Fishing & Shooting day

The Cast and Blast (fishing and shooting day) is our most popular corporate day by far.

The combination of adrenaline fuelled shooting with the relaxation of fly fishing makes participants focused and relaxed.  It is a real treat for your clients or team.

The normal agenda is for participants to arrive at around 9-9.30am and, following coffee, with a full English breakfast, or a bacon roll or pastries.

Then go out for an instructed session on the shooting layout followed by a fun, yet often serious, competition.

Lunch is served in our Fishing Lodge.  During the Winter, we serve dishes such as home-made cottage pie and in the Summer it is often steak barbecue or a smoked salmon buffet (please see our corporate menu for choices). 

In the afternoon, guided by our instructors, the participants head for the lakes, to catch a fresh trout or two. 

This is a most relaxing part of the day, the gentle action of casting a line, will often get people to completely lose their thoughts of the office and work-related problems and become totally engrossed in what’s around them – the Fly Life, the scenery, the sound of the water and the activity of getting that fish on the line.

So that you don’t have to worry about budget,   the price we quote is fully inclusive  (including refreshments).   We have a full set of risk assessments, first aid and food hygiene certificates, which can be provided on request.
