CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS
Most conference and meeting venues are fully equipped and functional, which is fine for delivering the basics. However for an unusual and alternative venue, Meon Springs might be just what you're looking for.
On site we have:
These facilities can be designed to meet your requirements, whether it be for:
"Alternative conference facility..."
"Meon Springs have recently converted one of their barns into a fully-functioning conference room. We found this to be a fantastic asset, unlike most traditional conference facilities it was light, spacious and airy making it a comfortable environment to deliver training and presentations. The whole team had a fantastic time and we could not recommend Meon Springs enough as an alternative conference facility". AIG
From the very early stages of organising the conference and right throughout the delivery, the team at Meon Springs were so helpful and were prepared to do everything they could to ensure we had a fantastic and memorable stay. - Tripadvisor Review
why meet off-site
Although it is usually easier to arrange for you and your team to book the company boardroom to hold your meeting, there are a couple of serious disadvantages.
Distractions - the rest of the team know that you are on-site and they need their most important problems solved - NOW. What are they going to do? Yes, you got it "knock, knock, knock" and the careful "thought moment" with your team is destroyed.
Stagnation - Many teams spend most of their working life based out of one building. It doesn't matter how nice that building is, the same familiar scenery will keep the same familiar mental perspectives in place. If you want to develop something different - find a new place to do it.
And, there are a couple of serious advantages to taking your team off-site.
Establishing occasion. An off-site event establishes a sense of occasion, particularly if it is done well.
This creates a positive and memorable experience that will enhance your messages and development.
Networking - In this day and age, many teams work remotely and don't really get to know each other. In an off-site event, that all changes, making future collaboration on projects much smoother.
