THE CAST AND BLAST

The Cast and Blast is by far our most popular event mainly because it is such a great combination of one sport that gives you a huge rush followed by another that totally chills you out.

The day involves a morning of fully instructed fishing and an afternoon of fully instructed shooting (or the other way around). The high adrenaline-boosting thrill of blasting clays out if the sky is tempered by a more relaxed session fly fishing.

0915 Arrive, tea, coffee and breakfast roll in the Lodge

0945 SHOOTING Meet your instructors before a full safety briefing

1000 Walk up to the layout set in woods and overlooking the South Downs to begin shooting

12.15 Walk up to the Long Barn for Lunch

1400 FISHING Meeting your fishing instructors for a saftey briefing and instruction on the lakes.

1630 Return to the Lodge for afternoon tea and prize giving

1700 Depart after a thoroughly good day.
