Ash



A magnificent large deciduous tree with distinctive black buds in spring. It can grow up to 45m high and will live up to 200 years. It prefers moist but well drained fertile soils up to 450m in altitude. Grows well in mixed stands provided not shaded. It is native throughout British Isles and Europe into Asia.
