For the Troutmaster
Meon Springs Fly Fishery has two main lakes plus two "river section" lakes for Catch and Release fishing. Our main lakes are stocked with rainbow trout, 2Lbs and upwards, with many 5-10Lbs specimens coming to the net.
Our Catch and Release is full of smaller brownies and rainbows.We have a good range of fish sizes and normally, very clear water. This makes us a good fishery for stalking.
Fishing with Dry Flies is also very popular at Meon Springs. It is particularly good fun yet quite challenging on our Catch and Release, where good anglers will regularly pull out 10-15 rainbows or brownies on a day.
