This year we have four major events planned.

The Orvis Cast & Blast: Sunday 20th April 2008
The Orvis Cast & Blast will be back in April and as in previous years there will be shooting and fishing with tuition.  The lakes will be open to try all the latest Orvis tackle and there will be demonstrations by some of the fishing world’s leading figures.


The Macmillan Charity Fishing & Shooting Day: Wednesday 21st May 2008
We have raised over £26,000 for Macmillan over the four times that we have run this event.  This fifth event is to be sponsored by Waitrose, Petersfield branch, and supported by Fullers Brewery.   

We are looking for teams of three to join the fishing and shooting competitions.  There will be prizes and plenty of opportunity for giving to the Macmillan cause.

The CFR – Orvis Challenge: Thursday 5th June 2008
CFR, Casting For Recovery, run retreats for ladies that have suffered breast cancer.  The program has been successfully established in the USA for some years and has recently branched out into the UK.  A retreat with CFR is an inspiration to those attending in that it not only provides an opportunity for immense emotional support, with professional facilitation, it also, with the action of fly-fishing, helps the physical healing process needed after surgery.  Please check out their website www.castingforrecovery.org.uk

The Beretta World Sporting Championships: Friday 4th July 2008 – Sunday 6th July 2008
We are once again pleased to be hosting the Beretta World Sporting Championships.

Over the past three years we have had great write-ups outlining the quality of the course layout and the spectacular location. 

”The 2007 Beretta World was officially the biggest ever with 925 entrants competing for the title. The early July date is nearly always blessed with dry weather.

£45 to shoot the Beretta layout.
£15 to shoot the 50 bird Sporting layout

No restrictions on make of gun.
Entries on the day between 10am and 2pm
