Milking the cows at Meon

If you've never donned an overall and milked a cow, now is your chance.

New to Meon Springs this year is our Corporate Milking Session.

The farm runs 380 cows and milks them twice per day through a 24 stall Herringbone parlour.

On the day you choose to help us milk - At either 7am or 3pm, we will be a little short staffed and require some assistance (your team do not need to be aware of this). You will then all come down to the dairy, get dressed up in overalls and put on a pair of milking gloves, then come into the parlour to get your hands dirty and learn how to do the job.

We will show you what is involved and then, avoiding all "Cow Splats", you can have a go yourself. The session lasts about an hour, is great fun and one your team will remember every time they have a cup of tea or coffee..
