Corporate Archery

Archery is often described as the “art of repetition”
It is the training of the body to produce and reproduce the same series of actions. Zen Archery, practised in Japan as Kyodu is seen as one of the pathways to enlightenment. Where, through rigorous training, one becomes attuned to the unconscious.
Correct archery technique involves using as little muscle as possible. The overall goal is to use the skeletal frame to control the bow, which makes archery a sport suitable for people of all frames and levels of fitness.
Like with golf, or any other hand/eye co-ordination skill, one of the most important things to learn is how a good shot feels. A relaxed shot/feeling is easier to reproduce more consistently than a tense shot.
At Meon Springs, you can join us for a full day of this sport or include an archery session as an activity during your day.
- Archery can be done indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather.
- It is a relaxing and quiet activity, giving your group plenty of time to socialise and chat.
- It requires a level of concentration that focuses the mind and allows one to enjoy the moment.
