Trout Pate

This is a yummy recipe for trout pate that has been provided by one of our regular anglers.

Blend the following ingredients to a thick gloop:

Cooked flesh from half a reasonable sized fish (say a 3 pounder)
3 or 4 chopped rashers cooked smokey bacon
300 grams cream cheese
1 tablespoon mayonnaise (or horseradish)*
1 teaspoon paprika
ground pepper
sea salt

(*We prefer to use mayo, as it has a milder flavour)

Put it into a flat dish, and put sliced lemon on top.

Enjoy
